The top 100 apps are all of the big-money, "essential" apps if anyone wants to use a specific service. The list is VERY boring. There are duplicates between categories, but each app that is duplicated is rarely the best in either category in which it is contained. It would be MUCH better if the list went after imaginitive apps. The list needs to offer apps that truly can be a master in two-or-more categories. The list needs apps that create their own category. What the list DOES NOT need would be all of the apps that are already pre-loaded on a stock phone. Google apps? Yeah, they're pretty great, but they're often already on the phone at purchase. MAPS?! May as well list Gmail or Phone. And INBOX? No, thank you. And as for the "Going Out" category, users are better-off just using the web version of those apps and saving a little space/process speed/RAM while also avoiding giving MORE apps MORE access to their phone/life.
