OMG the Swine Flu infected 61 million people in the US in 2009! I think we are taking this quarantine stuff a little overboard no?

"America's first death was reported on Feb. 29 and the rate has spiked over the past two weeks ..." The full seriousness of the pandemic was seen in China a good one month before that ... halfway around the world. America WOULD have been better prepared if it had a more responsible leader. Trump supporters are whining now about a TV ad informing America about how Trump downplayed the impeding crisis early on. That did very much delay people taking more precautions. We are paying for that now. I do not see anyone calling this pandemic 'fake news' now.

The 1918 flu was a strain of H1N1 and hit military-age people hardest. COVID--19 is ten times as deadly as most yearly flus and spreads much more easily. Listen to the experts, not politicians spreading false hope.

Only the mentally-lame compare Influenza and the COVID-19. The COVID-19 is far more contagious and far more deatly than Influenza. The fatality rate for COVID-19 is approximately 10%, in Italy. Unlike Influenza, there is no vaccine or standardized treatments for COVID-19 infections.
